Setting up Outlook

E-mail Address Setup for customers using Outlook Express.

After you finish your account setup, go into Outlook Express. Click Tools, Accounts, Add, and Mail.

Type your name, as you would like to have it on outgoing mail messages. When asked for the email address,

Asheboro customers, type:

username@asheboro.com

All others, type:

username@communityweb.net

Replace username with the username for your account, replace password with your password.  Make sure to type the username and password in all lowercase letters.

For the incoming mail (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) server,

Asheboro customers, type:

mail.asheboro.com

All others, type:

mail.communityweb.net

For the outgoing mail (SMTP) server, type:

Asheboro customers, type:

mail.asheboro.com

All others, type:

mail.communityweb.net

Then type the following information:

Account Name:  username   

Password:   password

 

Click Finish when done typing in requested information.

Repeat for additional e-mail accounts.

To check your e-mail once the accounts are set up, click on Tools, Send and Receive.  If you have more than 1 mailbox, you can pick which mailbox to check, or you can select All to check all of your mailboxes at once.
