164. Patrick Coyle II was born in 1758 in Rowan, NC. He died in 1804 in Madison, KY. He has Ancestral File number S3ZN-70. Patrick, appeared on the Madison County, KY tax records in 1799, so he was living in the country in 1798. He also appears on the second census of the U. S. in Madison County, KY. His name was on court records in 1800 in behalf of his brother, Thomas, in a lawsuit with Peter Evans. His wife apprenticed her son to neighbors, during the February Term of Court in Madison County, in 1805, for them to learn a trade and to read an write. Patrick was probably buried on his homeplace. No will has been found.

Isham Lane, Thomas Shifflett, Basil Baker, Patrick Coyle, along with other pioneer families settled in what is now southwestern Madison County and lived within riding or walking distance. Large families, intermarried-"Descendants fo Isham Lane, Madision Co., KY." He was married to Nancy McCreary about 1778 in Of Rowan, NC.

165. Nancy McCreary was born in 1759 in NC. She died in 1838 in KY. She has Ancestral File number S3ZN-85. Children were:

child i. Jesse Coyle was born in 1779 in Rowan County, NC. He died on 5 Jan 1869 in Ravenna, Estill Co., KY.
child ii. Unknown Coyle was born in 1781 in Rowan County, NC.
child iii. Isaac Coyle was born in 1790 in Rowan County, NC. He served in the military in 1812 in soldier in the American War of 1812. He died in 1875.
child iv. James Patrick Coyle was born in 1794 in Rowan County, NC.
