KY Volunteers, was enrolled on the 12th day of Oct., 1861, at Camp Hoskins, KY
3 yrs. and si reported: On roll from date of enrollment to 31 Dec 1861: Absent
sick in Hospital: So borne to 30 April 1861 Roll for (May Juune July and Aug
/ 1862) four Mos muster) Present rejoined Co. 6 Aug 1862: Roll from 31 Aug
until 31 Dec 1862 (four months muster) reports him deserted at Crab Orchard,
KY 16 Oct 1862, and to borne to 28 Feb 1863: Roll for Mar and April 1863; Present:
five mo's pay to be retarined for absence without leave since 16 Oct 1862. Sub
rolls to 30 Jun 1865 present. Mustered out with Co. at Greensboro, NC 11 Jul
1865. He reenlisted as veteran 30 Mar of 1864
No evidence of injury Jun 1864 as alleged. Nature of sickness 1861 not stated.
No hospital records of organization or morninig reports of company prior to
Dec 1864 onb file. He died on 24 May 1914 in Paris, KY. Was living with his
daughter Dora Meade (wife of Henry Meade of Paris, KY) He was a Sawmill operator
in Liberty, Casey County, KY. 155 Miles west of Somerset, on Highway #80 301081

He was married to Emily Baugh in Estill, KY.

Emily Baugh was buried in Mt. Moriah Christian
Church in Baugh lot, Highland, KY. Rev. Yellton had been at Mt. Moriah only
six monthss when Jim Baker adn Charles Baker visited the church in June 1967.
