Background Story: Agar AxeCleaver won the Battle for the High Throne (Southern Front 99), but his victory was not complete enough to vanquish all his rivals for power. So the rediscovery of the long lost Wizzard's Keep was all it took to plunge the kingdoms back into war, as all those who would be High King battle for possession of the Keep and its power to rule all.
This is the official web site for the Southern Front 2000 FR! tournament (see below for more info on FR! or Southern Front). Standard tournament (1000 pts, 250 pts sideboard, level two MU) 15mm 2nd edition FR! armies were used. The Wizzard's Keep War was a round-robin tournament pitting your army against those of your rival claimants to the throne - fighting each battle in a different terrain of the land you are trying to rule. Winning a major victory was worth 4 tournament points, a minor victory 3, a tie battle 2, a minor defeat 1, and a major defeat was worth none. The player with the most tournament points after three rounds was declared the winner and the new High King. We also used a new tournament rule this year, the reduction of both armies moral clock at the end of each turn. This speeded up games and allowed them to be over within the time constraints of the tournament (and generally liked by the participants).

Tourney points were award as such. 4 for routing your opponent (win by more than 300 vps), 3 for defeating your opponet (winning by 100-300 vps), 2 for tieing (being within 100 vps), 1 for being defeated (losing by 100-300 vps), and 0 for being routed (losing by greater than 300 vps). Tie breaker would have been winning The Wizzard's Keep.
Fantasy Rules! (FR!) is a game of epic battles fought between fantasy armies. Just about any fantasy army can be used with this game, as well as different scales of miniatures (I can field both 15mm and 25mm armies). FR! is produced by Chipco (see below for link), and they are supplying prizes for the tournament.
