I'm start'n to wonder about my shadow,
I'd have to say without a doubt,
Oh... sometimes he's my side-kick,
But here's one thing I've noticed,
And there's another thing that bugs me,
Well... I guess I'll go on a-ponder'n,

MY SHADOW
(101KB)
Does yours ever bother you;
Or are you both the best of buddies,
No matter what you do?
Mine's a fair-weather friend;
'Cause sure as it starts cloud'n up,
On him I can't depend.
Right by me every step;
Stays with me walk'n or if I run,
Just like my pet-dog, Shep.
And if you try it... you'll also see;
If ever I start accuse'n him,
He points right back at me.
Him come'n on so strong;
Why is it at both ends of the day,
He tends to run-on long?
Why he's fastened there at my feet;
And in spite of all doubts about him,
Know what?... I think that's kind'a neat!
